Director: Ryan Alexander
Ryan Alexander is currently a band director in the Lake Hamilton School District outside of Hot Springs, AR. In addition to being a band director, he is also the Director of Percussion Studies for the district. Mr. Alexander previously taught in the Blytheville School District in the same capacity. He holds a Master’s in Percussion Performance from the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) and a Bachelor’s in Music Education, also from UCA. Mr. Alexander’s marching percussion experience includes marching and later teaching with the Delta Brigade Drum and Bugle Corps, marching in the UCA Band, and later teaching and arranging for the UCA Drumline for 2 years as a graduate assistant. Mr. Alexander has performed at Carnegie Hall with the UCA Wind Ensemble, in Sweden with the UCA Graduate Percussion Trio, and with the Conway Symphony Orchestra, Pine Bluff Symphony Orchestra, and UCA Percussion Ensembles. His wife, Bobbie, is an English teacher at Lake Hamilton High School.
