Financial Assistance
While the directors of Lake Hamilton Bands want every
student to have the opportunity to attend band camp, they understand that not every
student’s financial situation allows for it.
For this reason, the directors seek funding to provide financial aid
scholarships for students who are having difficulty even after
fundraising. Examples of financial
hardship would be medical bills or job layoff.
If your child is one of those students, please fill out the
information listed below including a brief description of the situation that
warrants your child being considered.
This information will be shared with a limited number of people who assist
in determining the awards of financial aid. Please include a completed band camp application along with this form. A request for financial aid will not be
considered without a completed application.
An application for financial aid should be written and signed by a
parent. Applications written by students
are not acceptable. You may send
this information to band with your child.
We ask that you send it in a sealed envelope marked to the attention of
your child’s band director.
Consideration will be given to all applicants; however, please
understand that not all students will receive financial aid scholarships, and a
financial aid scholarship will not cover the entire amount of tuition due to
the limited amount of funds. Your child
will be given an opportunity to fundraise to supplement financial aid. To avoid the possibility of embarrassment,
these scholarships will not be announced.
Your child will be notified of any award on an individual basis.
The deadline for applying for this
assistance is 03-11-08. Late or
incomplete applications will not be considered. You may submit the band camp
application without the medical form; however, this will need to be completed
at a later date. If you need additional
