Band
camp is an excellent opportunity to build skills during the summer when the
temptation to stop practicing keeps students from achieving their full
potential.
In
addition to classes, sectionals and concerts, students enjoy recreational
activities such as swimming, movies, dances and sports. Many who attend band camp form life long
friendships with students from surrounding schools.
If
you plan for your child to participate, please complete the attached
application*, and return it to us no later than March 11. If your child
chooses not attend camp after you submit the application, we will return the
application to your child. We need an
estimate of attendees now. Do not mail the application to

for payment after scholarships are awarded in early May.
In
addition to a limited number of merit scholarships, you and your child will
have an opportunity to participate in a fundraising project where the proceeds
will be placed in an account for your child to use to pay the tuition fee. Many of our students have taken advantage of
this opportunity in years past, and some have even paid the total cost of their
tuition through fundraising. Your child
will receive information about this on April 2.
We
discussed band camp during band class today.
In addition, you can log on to the

roommate choice blank. Your child will
choose a roommate when all applications are in.
If you are unable to complete the medical history form at this time, you
may submit it at the time you send your payment.
